This is my podium. A place where I can share knowledge and recipes to help you on your journey to a healthier life. You see, I truly believe that healthy food need not be boring, bland, or hard to create. I encourage you to say goodbye to the overly processed boxed meals and fast food. To embrace cooking, whole foods, and a healthier life style. After all, we all want to live as long and trouble free as possible right? Well the fact of the matter is a healthy diet will help us get there.
My goal is to help anyone and everyone learn to be a capable home cook. Helping you make healthy food related choices whilst retaining the idea that proper healthy food truly can taste great. We don't need to feed on a diet of lettuce and carrots to be healthy. All it takes is a little imagination and courage to try something new. You may be shocked just how much better a healthy wholesome meal can taste than a processed boxed or fast food meal.
Lets look at the numbers for a moment. If we assume for just a moment that every man, woman and child is expected to eat a minimum of 3 meals a day, 365 days a year from the day their born to the day they die we can safely say that we will all eat 1095 meals a year. That's a lot food. Now ask yourself, of those 1095 meals, how many will you prepare yourself? How many of those meals will contain the vital nutrients you need? The nutrients that help to support and grow your brain, heart, lungs, skin, teeth, fingernails and all the parts that make up your body? How many of those meals will be prepared by a fast food conglomerate, concerned with profit margins over health. After all, the old saying "You are what you eat" is a real as it gets.
