What Are You Waiting For?

If you're waiting for the perfect time to lose some weight, I've got some good and bad news for you. The perfect time isn't coming, rather, its already here. There's no better time to start losing weight then now. That's right, not next month, next week or tomorrow. Now.

But why now? Well, that's a good question. The answer? The sooner you start, the sooner you will have success. Seems obvious right?

It really is that simple. Think about a memorable event that happened in the last 3-6 months. It could be a religious holiday, a birthday, the day you got your new car or home, or even just a great night out with friends. I bet it it felt like just yesterday that you're memorable event happened. Now, think about if you had of started a weight loss plan on the day of that event. How much weight could you have lost? 10, 20, 30, 50 pounds maybe? Odds are, had you have started losing weight on that day, you'd likely have already hit, or at least made some major progress on your weight loss goals. It's almost depressing to think that, if you had of put in the effort then, you could be reading this post with your new healthy, slamin body.

The thing is, time flies. The older we get, the faster it seems to fly. Of course, it doesn't actually, but our perception of time changes. The more years we have under our belt, the shorter events, or moments seem to be in contrast to the number of years we have lived. A 5 year old perceives 1 single year as a 5th of his entire life, which seems like an eternity. A 75 year old on the other hand perceives a single year as a 75th of his entire life, which in contrast to the 5 year old, seems like a much shorter period of time. So what does this have to do with weight loss? Probably not much. I just watched a fascinating documentary about time and got lost in a ramble. In all seriousness though, the point is. Start now and before you know it you will have hit your goal. As I mentioned above, and as you all know, life is short, time flies, and the longer we wait to begin achieving a goal, the longer we have to wait to reap its benefits. Also, the more time you spend with your fat body, the less time you get to spend with your fit body.

Speaking of time, let's not forget the fact that a fitter, healthier person will naturally get more of it. How does an extra 3-10 years sound? That's right, providing you don't go down in a freak accident, leading a healthier lifestyle can net you 3 to 10 years of additional life. That's a pretty sweet deal if you ask me.

So, stop wasting time. Make it happen now.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be really something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I am looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of ...
