Faster than a frozen pizza...

In a hurry with no time to cook? Think again. Delicious healthy food can be whipped up and enjoyed in no time. All it takes is a little bit of prep and planing. Think twice before grabbing that frozen pizza.

Taking a few moments before you begin to cook can save you loads of time in the kitchen. Think about your meal before you start. What ingredients will you be using? Do any of them require long cooking times? Will you be using a hot oven or boiling water? Will you need any ingredients at a moments notice?

Getting your oven warmed or a pot of water boiling in advance will help save you time. While you're waiting for appliances or pans to heat up, chop, peel and prep any vegetables you might be using and trim and season you're meats. While you're waiting for food to cook, start prepping any sauces or salad dressings you might be using. The key is to always have your food ready to roll.

A little bit of planing can go a long way in getting food on your table faster. Don't be suprised if you can cut you kitchen time in half.

The curried salmon and mashed sweet potatoes pictured above for example came together in under 15 minutes. That's literally less time than it takes to cook a frozen pizza!
